DISCOVERY MAS Provocative discography is the only method that can associate the morphological changes visualized in the MRI with the patient's referred low back pain. It is the attempt to create a physiological pressure through the intradiscal infusion of contrast, capable of triggering the symptomatic low back pain referred by the patient, determining which vertebral discs are symptomatic or pathological.Discography evaluates the stage of disc degeneration. This helps programming the most appropriate surgical therapy, for each evolutionary stage of disc pathologies.
